Cancellation & refund policyHere is how our cancellation process works:
We want to encourage potential pilgrims to reserve early. But the natural tendency is to delay the committment. But if everybody waits, we end up with more people trying to reserve at the last minute than we can get hotel rooms for. That happened to us twice before. So, our cancellation policy is intended to make it relatively low-risk to book early.
No additional cancellation fee.

Payments & CurrencyFees are billed in US Dollars.
Most of our expenses are in US$ and so our billing to you will be in US$. We send out interim billings occasionally and a final invoice just before departure. US$ Payments US$ Payments can be made by Bank Draft, Cheque on a US$ Account, or Wire Transfer. We are not able to accept credit cards. Canadian $ Payments If you prefer, you can pay us in Canadian Dollars by Cheque or Interac Transfer. We periodically convert CAD$ received to US Funds. We credit your account at an exchange rate at least as favourable as the TD Bank Exchange Rate on the day we make the conversion. Our interim and final billing will show any currency conversions. [1] Fees above are based on quotations and estimates in hand in June 2026 and $US/$CAD exchange at about $1.35. (We base this on the TD Bank's current estimates of US dollar rates of 1.33 to 1.36 in the next year.) Our largest expenses are for Hotels, Guides, Site Admissions, Entry and Exit Visas, Buses & Drivers for which we have firm quotes in hand. As we know the cost of these major items, we do not anticipate any need to revise these fees. However, in the event that we face unanticipated expenses or price increases, a surcharge may become necessary. In that case we will communicate this promptly and discuss the surcharge with all involved. Because hotel space must be confirmed well in advance, early registration is very helpful. We are pleased to offer a $100 per person Early Registration Credit to the first 20 pilgrims who complete their registration and submit their deposit by October 31, 2026. This credit will be applied to the final payment and is not transferable or redeemable for cash. Fees are billed based on group size at time of departure. As our group size grows, we all benefit. For now we suggest you budget based on the 29-33 Group Size for primary pilgrimage and 12-19 for Jerusalem Extension. [2] Gratuities: Built into your fee are all tips which we pay on your behalf to Local Tour Guides, Bus Drivers, Restaurant Servers, Hotels for Porterage and other Services. We tip near the top of the scale and usually receive excellent service. |
[3]Air Fare has been about CAD$1,500 - $1,800 return, Flex Economy, for the non-stop Air Canada flight to Tel Aviv for the past few years. For 2027 we expect the price will be higher -- something like CA$2200. Best prices are usually posted about 120 to 90 days before departure. We start watching prices carefully in November and once the price seems right, we try to book all our flights at the same time. A travel agent will be recommended who understands our itinerary, or you may use your preferred travel agent or book directly online. Assistance is provided as needed for this.
[4] Double Occupancy is assumed in above fees. If you are in a single room, the single supplement will apply. If you would like to avoid this cost and are amenable to having a roommate, we will try to assist. We may be able to introduce you to another person who is also travelling alone who is open to the idea. Reserve early and let us know your desires and we will assist you as we are able. |
