Our Mission
Our mission is to create carefully planned Christian pilgrimages where Scripture comes alive, faith is renewed, and pilgrims encounter the Living Stones — the local Christians whose witness continues in the land where our faith was born.
Who are we?Trinity Tour and Craftsmanship is organized and managed by The Rev’d Canon Vicars Hodge and his wife, Carole. Carole is a retired Registered Nurse, and Vicars is a priest of the Anglican Church of Canada with a long-standing passion for introducing people to the Holy Land, its sacred places, and its people.
Over the years, Vicars has led many pilgrims to the Holy Land while serving Anglican parishes in both Ontario and New Brunswick. Though now retired from full-time parish ministry, he continues to serve as Priest Associate at Trinity Church, Sarnia, and as Canon Missioner in the Diocese of Huron. Carole and Vicars have three adult children and three grandchildren, whose homes are now spread across Manitoba, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia. Contact US:The Rev. Canon Vicars Hodge

Our GoalsSince our first pilgrimage in 1999, our goals for pilgrims have been simple and consistent:
1. That Holy Scripture would come alive. The stories of the Bible are understood in a deeper and richer way when they are read in the places where they unfolded. Pilgrimage helps us see Scripture in context. 2. That faith would be deepened. St. Jerome called the Holy Land the “Fifth Gospel,” because the land itself bears witness to the story of God’s saving work. Our hope is that pilgrims return home with renewed faith, strengthened commitment, and a deeper love for Christ. 3. That pilgrims would meet the “Living Stones.” We deliberately shape our itineraries so that pilgrims meet and interact with local Christians in the Holy Land — the “Living Stones” whose faith, ministries, and hospitality continue to bear witness to Christ today. These encounters enrich the pilgrimage and remind us that the Holy Land is not only a place of ancient memory, but also a living Christian community. |
